An excellent opportunity to join a global consumer electronics and innovation brand as the Retail Strategy Manager for TV/AV.
You will be responsible for building retail strategy capability for subsidiaries across Europe. The objective is to improve the strategic decision-making and operational capability through deep insight into retail performance particularly for TV/AV products. A key function of this role is the formulation of robust data-led insights into subsidiary and key account retail-level sales performance of strategic product categories.
You will utilise primary sources of information and business analytics tools to ensure alignment with the retail commercial objectives and track performance vs target.
This will require you to have strong retail knowledge, preferentially in Europe. Working with the European subsidiaries you will help deliver the successful introduction of the standard methodologies within the European Key Accounts and drive the sell-out performance throughout the life cycle including identification of improvements in the shopper journey. You will need to combine your retail operations knowledge to ensure insights are actionable.
To succeed in this role, you will need to construct robust communication channels both internally and within European Key Accounts to stay aligned up to executive level.
Key qualities for this role are:
A comprehensive understanding of retail store operational key performance indicators including stock, sell out, inventory, distribution, product display needs;
Experience in working to improve retail sell out and stock performance at a stock and aggregate level;
Appreciate & integrate the qualitative needs of stores (training, motivation, incentives, positioning in store, demonstration experience, sales program) that underpin sell-out success;
Ability to quickly formulate networks with multiple international cultures, and act independently to secure alignment and drive decision-making up at senior management level;
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to evaluate numbers to make commercially valid proposals (strong skills in excel required);
The ability to develop and drive clear plans and specific initiatives that create a competitive advantage and enable sustainable growth for the business;
Hypothesis driven thinking and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture;
25% travel required.
