A leading global alcohol brand owner, producer, and distributor of some of the world’s top drinks brands were looking to bring in new dynamic talent from different sectors, to add value to their existing marketing teams.

The Change Partners have a long-standing relationship with the client but this task, to find a Marketing Manager to join a team working within a fast moving and transforming drinks category, was a lot more progressive than others.

The client was looking for highly creative candidates that come from different sectors and bring different ideas, ways of working and values to the table.

Task

We actively targeted Senior Brand managers with several years experience and existing Marketing Managers, who worked at brands delivering contemporary, engaging and highly creative work into consumer markets.

We targeted candidates at Global FMCG brands, the premium automotive sector, contemporary fashion retail, energy drinks market and Sportswear brands.

Experience, ambition and cultural fit are crucially important to the client. We therefore qualify this for the client through our face to face meetings with all candidates whilst articulating the vision of the brand within its sector and the ambition of the team + leadership.

We selected candidates who were within budget, on brief and shared the entrepreneurial and creative values of the company.

The outcome

7 final candidates were presented, 4 were met for first stage interviews, 2 for second stage and 1 candidate was offered, accepted and started within a month. Our market knowledge combined with our approach of headhunting, referral and using our well-qualified database allowed us to act with both speed and quality in drawing up a comprehensive shortlist, in a short period of time for the client.
