Job Description
The Change Partners are working with an Tier-1 TV streaming platform who are looking to hire a Head of Partnerships/Head of Account Management.
The Head of Partnerships will be responsible for owning existing commercial accounts to drive additional revenue as well as working to secure new deals with connected TV platforms (70/30 existing vs new). As well as managing contract negotiations with commercial and legal.
Key responsibilities:
- Own strategy for Account and Partnership management within Broadcasting, OTT, Connected TV, Smart TV Manufacturers, Set Top Box, Operating Systems and emerging technology.
- Deliver brand new accounts through business development.
- Work commercially to manage contract negotiations that are beneficial to the business.
- Influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Strategic account management.
- Deliver commercial propositions.
- Line management, a team of three in Partnerships.
- Create a collaborative and supportive environment for teams.
- Partner with a variety of internal and external teams to deliver new channels and content for the business.
- In the future, support the global rollout.
Your background:
- At least 6 years experience within broadcasting, OTT, Connected TV, Smart TV Manufacturers, Set Top Box, Operating Systems and/or emerging technology.
- Similar years experience within Partnerships, Account Management and Business Development.
- Strong understanding of the connected TV ecosystem, the key players and how the market operates.
- Experience leading on commercial contract negotiations, and working with legal.
- Ideal but not essential, line management experience.
