About the role

We are currently working with a global technology and digital services organisation that supports large-scale business operations, digital transformation programmes, and customer-facing solutions across Europe.

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to take overall ownership of project delivery, managing both in-house and partner-led projects. This role will play a key part in proactive risk management, vendor coordination, and supporting the wider PMO team to improve project delivery techniques across a wide European network. 

This is a hybrid role based in the London area.

It is a contract role until end of the year paying up to £200 per day. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of in-house and partner-led projects.

  • Proactively review projects on a weekly basis to anticipate potential trouble, manage dependencies, and prevent issues.

  • Review projects and programs objectively, engaging directly with respective HQ businesses and European stakeholders.

  • Publish and implement Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with external partners.

  • Plan for the people supply chain and proactively identify key project positions.

  • Work closely with the wider PMO team to improve project delivery techniques and project documentation.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, third-party suppliers, and communication partners.

  • Drive innovation within the team and foster enthusiasm for Digital and eCommerce initiatives.

Your background:

  • 2+ years of concentrated eCommerce or retail project environment experience.

  • Previous experience in Project Management, Vendor Management, and implementing Change Management processes.

  • Proficient in using Agile/Sprint and product-centric design.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.

  • A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of cross-functional, virtual, and distributed teams.

  • Readily adapts to change in a fast-moving, challenging environment where processes change constantly.

  • Exposure to project management tools like JIRA.
