Job Description
The Change Partners are working with an Iconic Cargo/Freight brand who are looking to hire a Programme Manager within EV.
The Programme Manager will be responsible for supporting the strategy and execution for Electrical Vehicle (EV) and Battery transportation regulatory authorisation and management.
Key responsibilities:
The Programme Manager will be responsible for supporting the strategy and execution for Electrical Vehicle (EV) and Battery transportation regulatory authorisation and management.
Key responsibilities:
- Own strategy and delivery of EV and Battery transportation, ensuring the business to gain regulatory approval and ongoing risk management.
- Conduct assessment for Electrical and Battery vehicle transportation including: Safety, Legal, Fire and wider risks.
- Develop Safety strategy including scientific and technical research, risk analytics, management and evacuation planning.
- Deliver engaging and open communications to regulatory authorities.
- Create evidence, data and ultimately the case to achieve regulatory approval within EV transportation.
- Build a team to oversee implementation and maintenance of programme.
- Support with research and development opportunities for investment.
- Create business case to show how the business could capitalise in the EV market and introduction of different technologies and tools.
- Market research, medium and long term strategy development for EV transportation.
- Partner with internal and external commercial and regulatory stakeholders, this could include: EU/GB/UN legislation, manufacturers, infrastructure, trade, hauliers and customers.
- At least 7 years experience within a highly regulated environment. e.g. Electric Vehicles/Batteries (preferred), Oil and Gas, Pharma etc.
- Ideally have supported a business to gain regulatory approval from UK government/similar entities.
- Experience working on risk assessment and risk mitigation.
- Excellent stakeholder management with strong gravitas.
- Ability to communicate between technical and commercial teams.
- Worked within EV/Batteries or similar, ideal but not essential.
