Senior Payment Proposition Lead

The Change Partners are currently working with a Global Tier-1 Brand who are looking for a Senior Payments Proposition Lead.

The Senior Payments Proposition Lead will be responsible for working with partners such as PayPal, Klarna and more to develop innovative propositions to ensure the brand continues to deliver revenue through new routes to pay across instore and online Retail estate.

Please note, we are not looking for a technical person, this is a pure commercial proposition development role.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the payment proposition roadmap for .com and instore.
• Develop new propositions to deliver new and innovative payment products.
• Optimise existing propositions with partners.
• Work with partners such Paypal, Klarna and more to further develop propositions.
• Analyst finance, checkout, payment, consumer behaviour and wider regulatory changes. 
• Identify areas for improvement and mitigate risk.
• Build commercial and financial business cases and lead on commercial negotiations with finance partners.
• Present to senior stakeholders to deliver an impactful proposition, influence and once signed off, work with teams to deliver. 

Your background:

• At least 4 years of experience within BNPL, eCommerce payment options or similar
• Experience within Retail, Marketplace, Finance or similar. 
• Experience working on online and in-store payment proposition development and delivery
• Exposure to working with BNPL partners such as PayPal, Klarna, etc.
• Able to work in a multi-layer, global and commercially driven organisation.
