Head of Commercial and Strategic Partnerships
Tier-1 Travel Brand

We are working with a tier-1 travel brand hiring a Head of Commercial and Strategic Partnerships to join the team, in a newly created role, and own all revenue generating partnership opportunities end-to-end. 

This is an exciting time for this business who are going through significant change and transformation. You'll be working alongside a high-calibre senior team from some of the world's best brands and businesses (mostly from travel and tech). 

Key responsibilities include… 
  • Holistically own the Strategic and Commercial Partnerships function, working with a range of tourist boards, attractions, booking partners, media partners, walled-garden database owners, leading retail and other loyalty programmes and more. 
  • Engage new partners and negotiate revenue-generating deals, working closely with legal teams on contracts and compliance.
  • Work closely with marketing and wider commercial team in bringing partnerships to market and ensuring commercial potential is realised.
  • Full life-cycle management of partnerships, looking for areas to optimise and improve failing deals and making decisions on when to off-board partners.

Key requirements include… 
  • Significant experience ideating revenue generating and strategic partnerships, reaching key stakeholders in target partners, negotiating deals ensuring commercially favourable outcomes - Strong commercial mindset.
  • Strong understanding of contracts and able to work closely with legal teams on negotiating terms ensuring compliance is met.
  • Excellent communication skills and highly numerate, able to present to senior stakeholders and influence commercial business decisions. 
  • Able to bring partnerships to market working closely with the marketing team - Strong understanding of partnership activation, able to form promotional campaigns to ensure maximum visibility and commercial success.
