Job Description

This is a newly created role working within the European IoT category at one of the world’s top consumer electronics brands.

The mission is to formulate and drive the strategic future direction of IoT products and services within Europe, in doing so the opportunity to influence the global strategy.

In this position, you'll serve as the principal strategic Go-To-Market (GTM) leader for Europe. Collaborating with 16 subsidiaries, the central European Marketing and Regional Product teams.

We are looking for a highly autonomous individual with a strong understanding of IoT products and services across a multitude of platforms, devices and hardware. Someone highly strategic with a depth of understanding in GTM, marketing channels and strong stakeholder influencing capabilities.

This role will:

  1. Define and build out the IoT proposition, by working with agencies, and understanding the consumer behaviour data. To achieve progress, you must be able to influence, hold people to account and make work happen through others.
  2. Execute: Build best practices and execute the IoT proposition
  3. Success: through data, drive an increase in the active user base across devices and work with HQ Stakeholder management.
  4. Opportunity to influence HQ global strategy.

We are looking for:

  • Comprehensive GTM and Programme/Project management experience - ideally in multi-cultural, pan-European organisations.
  • Experience with product launches, bringing products to market, conception through life
  • Someone able to navigate and be successful in big complex organisations with a high degree of fragmentation
  • Commercially driven, number-based decision-making.
  • Ideally, previous experience of launching Consumer IoT or tech products into multiple markets.
  • This person has to have a good understanding of the marketing levers (CMI, Brand, Digital, PR, Retail, Partnerships etc)
  • This individual must have gravitas and is confident in their own ability.
  • An individual who can work in a fluid environment, that is unstructured (because it’s a new team) and deal with ambiguity.
  • Build out processes, for example, refining dashboards, and business processes (ie – creating better communication channels and data flows).
  • Be able to influence and hold stakeholders to account. This is key.
  • Be able to challenge back as appropriate.

This role will empower you to develop a profound understanding of business operations, customer experience, ongoing customer usage patterns, and the specialized service solutions needed to foster the growth of the IoT ecosystem and enhance customer engagement.

This is not an end-to-end commercial product role, it is a strategic role aimed at driving connected services.

Hybrid working 3 days a week in office, 2 days WFH.
