Job Description
We are looking for a D2C Ecommerce Strategist to join one of the world’s leading global companies. This is a new role in the business focused on marketing strategy and innovation within the D2C business.
The D2C lead will be a strategic partner for challenges faced within the rest of the business. They will tackle challenges and focus on problem-solving through D2C. This role will focus on helping to design D2C growth. As the D2C lead, you will work closely with D2C teams within the business to identify future growth opportunities, and map out the strategy required.
If you have experience of achieving commercial sales targets and metrics through D2C strategy and excel at tackling problems and developing solutions, this could be the role for you.
Responsibilities will include:
Focus on business problems and challenges across multiple teams and make clear, cohesive strategic plans that D2C can execute
Develop D2C strategy to drive profitable growth
Monitor key competitors
Evaluate D2C best-practice initiatives
Monitor Ecommerce market trends and performance
Create strategy to increase adoption and usage of App
Build a deep understanding of customer needs using data and insights
Develop activities to enhance sales and profitability
Strategy development to focus on upselling, customer retention and app development
Skills required for this role:
Extensive Ecommerce experience
Strong experience in strategy development and planning
Excellent strategic, analytical and commercial competence
Great story-teller
Comfortable with numbers
Collaborative
Influential
Strong customer-led background
Data driven- Experience of using customer data and insights to your advantage and turning into a campaign/strategy and visualising and presenting this to stakeholders in a simple way (presentations large part of role)
Experience of navigating large complex organisations
Working client side
Taking multiple problems and finding coherent solutions to keep everyone happy
Able to influence
The role is based between the Surrey and London areas and is a hybrid role allowing you to work two days in the office, one day on agency site and the rest working from home.
